She has recently moved from New York where she was with IBM Worldwide Marketing for 10 years, in various leadership roles. Raja heads Media at United Spirits Ltd., the worlds second largest liquor company and part of the UB Group. Raja also heads the digital marketing initiatives at USL. In the past 12 months USL have made rapid strides in utilizing Digital Marketing to achieve marketing goals of many of their brands. Prior to this current role, Raja headed the Luxury Brands business at USL.
Raja has also held senior marketing positions in two telco’s: Airtel and Tata Tele Services. Raja was responsible for the roll out of Airtel services in 2 circles : Tamilnadu and Kerala. At Tata Tele, Raja was responsible for rolling out services in Karnataka for Mobile and Landline services.
