A good way to make sure that we bring out a good quality book is to make sure that the content is relevant. While there is good intent from our part to author the book, we understand that we don’t know it all. That’s why we are reaching out to experts in different fields who have used Creative Commons in their work.
We are setting up an Advisory Panel consisting of 5 key members. These are members who are very well respected in the community and play a leadership role in their organization.
As the book is taking shape, we look up to them to give us suggestions for improvements and more importantly correct us if we move in the wrong direction. We understand that people at such high positions are busy and time is a luxury. We expect not more than 4 hours of time donation spread across one month. That’s about 1 hour every week. Anything higher is of course a big bonus and we truly appreciate it.
