I was pretty surprised to notice fully grown Turkeys (yeah, the bird variety ) in the streets of Chennai. That’s right… freely roaming in the streets. They are obviously grown in a house nearby. The first question that popped up in my mind was “How did these survive the Thanksgiving Day?”. The second being “If turkeys can be grown here in India, why aren’t there commercially grown just like chickens?”. Dunno. Guess I’ll have to ask that owner of these birds.
