I received a strange call this morning. An irate antique dealer from Bangalore held me responsible for loss of one lakh rupees in business.
I was taken aback but politely asked him to explain. A rich customer had placed an order for two satin wood pillars with him at Rs.55,000 per pillar.
Then this customer had chanced upon my blog post (http://www.kiruba.com/2011/06/selected-awesome-set-of-wooden-pillars.html) where I had documented my experience of hunting for wooden pillars for our farm house. And importantly, buying them at just Rs.6750 a piece.
The customer has now cancelled the order and decided to buy from the place where I bought from.
The antique dealer is pissed and now wants me to remove the blog post!
