Google as Big Brother?

Blogger has released a relatively new feature called ‘Flag’, which gives right to term the blog as objectionable. Since when did Google start behaving like big brother? By providing Blogger, it is offering a blogging tool. By doing so, they should automatically respect an individual’s right to voice his opinion. Even if it means it would be termed objectionable by a certain group of people.

The explanation on their site says, “The Flag button is not censorship and it cannot be manipulated by angry mobs.” I’m afraid that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
