We are glad to announce that Mr. Sanjay Pinto, Executive Editor, NDTV Hindu will be receiving the first copy of the book, Copy Right and Left, Which will be handed over to him by the Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai at the launch function that will be happening at Henry Maudslay Hall, Anna University at 10 am, July 20, 2011.
Well now to say a few things about Mr.Sanjay Pinto who has been working with NDTV for 14 years. Sanjay was the Bureau Chief of NDTV 24×7 before taking on the Editorial mantle of NDTV-Hindu. A news hound, he has interviewed almost every top politician & bureaucrat in the country, international sportspersons from cricketers to tennis players, film stars & business magnates.Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, Sanjay started a firm that specialises in organising and hosting intellectual events, corporate training and films. Emerging from the stable of Sanjay Pinto Communications are ‘The Landmark Debates’ – now a prominent fixture on our cultural calendar. And is also a consultant with a leading law firm in the country.
And where did the ‘silver tongue’ first begin to wag? At Loyola College, Chennai, from where Sanjay graduated in History & Politics, was the President of the Loyola Debating Society and crowned the ‘Best Outgoing Student’ in 1994 with a Gold Medal. Sharpened at the Dr.Ambedkar Govt. Law College from where Sanjay, graduated in Law in 1997, not to forget a twinning programme on Creative Writing through Cornell University, U.S.A. During his college stint, Sanjay became a National Debating Champion with an Unbroken Record of 106 Victories in inter collegiate debates & oratorical competitions. And is now a much sought after speaker & judge at conferences, seminars and competitions at various institutions.
